Our Torrance studio is all about real-world PMU training, whether you’re brand new or a working artist leveling up your skills.
You’ll get hands-on experience in Nano Brows, Powder Brows, Lip Blush, Tiny Tattoos, Saline Removal, and more all from Master Artist Denise Bomba-Baldwin, right here in Los Angeles County.

What Is Class On Demand?
All of our in-person Permanent Makeup (PMU) training courses take place at our licensed studio in Torrance, California right near the 405 and 110 for easy access from all of Los Angeles and the South Bay.

Not Ready for Your First Model?
That’s completely normal, and it’s exactly why our training doesn’t end on graduation day.
We don’t expect you to perform a procedure on a live model during your final day of class. Instead, you’ll have up to two months after graduation to go home, practice on your practice skins, review your training materials, and build your confidence at your own pace.
When you’re ready, you’ll return with your own models for 2 supervised model appointments, where Denise will be right by your side providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the entire procedure. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask questions, fine-tune your technique, and gain the confidence you need before working independently.

COMPLETE YOUR BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS TRAINING
Obtain your Bloodborne Pathogens certificate through Biologix if you are registering for Los Angeles County. If you are coming from another county or out of state, complete the approved course for your own county or local jurisdiction.

FINISH TRAINING AND GRADUATE
Successfully complete your class and receive your graduation certificate from Radiant Ink Beauty Studios.

APPLY FOR YOUR BODY ART PRACTITIONER REGISTRATION
If you are practicing in California, apply through the county where you will work. For Los Angeles County, you may use Radiant Ink Beauty Studios as your approved facility location. If you are from another county or another state, you will need to register through a location in your own area.
HELPFUL REMINDER
Depending on your county, you may also need a valid photo ID, Hepatitis B vaccination status or declination form, a passport-style photo, and any required county fee or application paperwork.
RADIANT INK CAN HELP GUIDE STUDENTS THROUGH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY PROCESS.
PMU Models
Every student may complete their required supervised model day for certification. Model day does not have to be completed on the 5th day of class. Students may go home, practice, and schedule their model day within 60 days of class completion.
Beyond Model Day Support
Your training includes your required supervised model day for certification, plus 2 additional supervised support appointments designed to help you gain real-life experience and confidence after class.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?
No prior experience is necessary. Our training is designed for both complete beginners and beauty professionals who want to expand their services. You just need to come ready to learn, practice, and grow.

Do I need a cosmetology or esthetics license to take this course?
No. In California, permanent makeup artists are generally required to register with their local Body Art Program and complete Bloodborne Pathogens training annually. We provide guidance on those next steps so you understand what is needed after training.

What happens after my supervised support appointments are used?
After your 2 bonus supervised support appointments are completed, you may continue growing with Radiant Ink through ongoing mentorship, shadow opportunities, future training, or chair rental if available. Our goal is to help you build confidence, gain momentum, and feel supported as you transition into working with real clients.

Does the course include a starter kit?
Yes. Each course includes a basic starter kit. We also offer an optional deluxe starter kit upgrade for an additional $450 for students who want a more complete setup.

What is included in the deluxe starter kit?
Deluxe kit items typically include blades, pigments, brow pencils, a blade sharpener, anesthetic cream, anesthetic gel, a permanent makeup machine, student manual and workbook, disposable hand tools, eyebrow shaver/razor, color wheel, pigment cups, forehead adhesive ruler, and practice latex skin.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes. Students who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

What if I have to miss a day of class?
We understand that life happens. If you miss a day of class, it is your responsibility to review the course materials and textbook to catch up. We strongly recommend planning ahead so you can get the full benefit of your training.

If I place a deposit, when is the remaining balance due?
You will typically receive a balance reminder about 2 weeks before your class start date. If you have questions about your payment schedule or final balance, please contact us at radiantinkbeauty@gmail.com

Do you offer support after training?
Yes. Our Safety Net Program is designed to support students even after class is over. We offer continued guidance, mentorship, and real-world support so you don’t feel like you’re left on your own after certification.

How do I book for on-demand training?
To book your on-demand training, text us at (424) 224-6477 and let us know which class you’re interested in. We’ll go over your goals, experience level, schedule, and any add-ons before confirming your training date.

What if I need to cancel my seat in the class, can I get a refund or move my date to another class?
There are no refunds after you've paid your deposit or the cost of the course. If you'd like to move your reservation to another date with available seats you may do so by sending in a request to radiantinkbeauty@gmail.com.
