How To Get Registered
STEPS TO ENROLL
Bloodborne Pathogen Certificate
Before training, you will need to take an online bloodborne pathogen training course to understand the fundamentals of how to work with blood and also get certified to practice in the state of California. This course is $25 and will take 3 hours to complete, and a link will be emailed to you.
Once the course is completed and you have been certified you can start your training. The certificate is only valid for one year and needs to be renewed annually for you to be able to practice as a Body Artist in the state of California.
Get Ready For Your Exciting New Career
Once you have placed your deposit, you will receive a welcome email with the documents to mail over to the county that you are in before attending class.
You must get registered with the Los Angeles Health Department or your counties Body Art program to be able to legally work on clients. This will be renewed annually as well.
Brow Models
Every student can work on a live model the last day of class.
You will have to bring your own model, or if you don't have one on the 5th day, you will still have 2 months to bring one in for supervised reassurance.

Students get to bring in clients or models for the next 2 months for FREE after completion of class to have supervised by Denise if she is available. After the 2 months you have the option to rent a chair (subject to availability)

Course Polices and FAQ's

Do I need prior experience to take this course?
No prior experience is necessary. Our training is designed for both complete beginners and beauty professionals who want to expand their services. You just need to come ready to learn, practice, and grow.

Do I need a cosmetology or esthetics license to take this course?
No. In California, permanent makeup artists are generally required to register with their local Body Art Program and complete Bloodborne Pathogens training annually. We provide guidance on those next steps so you understand what is needed after training.

What happens after the 2 months of free chair rental are over?
After your 2 months of free chair rental, you may continue growing with Radiant Ink through monthly chair rental, shadow days, apprenticeship opportunities, and ongoing support. Our goal is to help you build confidence, gain momentum, and feel supported as you transition into working with real clients.

Does the course include a starter kit?
Yes. Each course includes a basic starter kit. We also offer an optional deluxe starter kit upgrade for an additional $450 for students who want a more complete setup.

What is included in the deluxe starter kit?
Deluxe kit items typically include blades, pigments, brow pencils, a blade sharpener, anesthetic cream, anesthetic gel, a permanent makeup machine, student manual and workbook, disposable hand tools, eyebrow shaver/razor, color wheel, pigment cups, forehead adhesive ruler, and practice latex skin.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes. Students who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

What if I have to miss a day of class?
We understand that life happens. If you miss a day of class, it is your responsibility to review the course materials and textbook to catch up. We strongly recommend planning ahead so you can get the full benefit of your training.

If I place a deposit, when is the remaining balance due?
You will typically receive a balance reminder about 2 weeks before your class start date. If you have questions about your payment schedule or final balance, please contact us at radiantinkbeauty@gmail.com

Do you offer support after training?
Yes. Our Safety Net Program is designed to support students even after class is over. We offer continued guidance, mentorship, and real-world support so you don’t feel like you’re left on your own after certification.

What if I need to cancel my seat in the class, can I get a refund or move my date to another class?
There are no refunds after you've paid your deposit or the cost of the course. If you'd like to move your reservation to another date with available seats you may do so by sending in a request to radiantinkbeauty@gmail.com.
