At Radiant Ink Beauty Studios, our classes are equipped with everything artists need to get started on their own in the permanent makeup industry journey. Our comprehensive brow courses provide a much needed in-depth, and a hands-on learning experience. Online learning is great however the real knowledge is done out in the field with real life situations that Denise can help you with.
Imagine having your own personal PMU trainer by your side when you start to take clients. That “safety net” is so valuable, especially when you’re new and scared. You can’t find that amenity anywhere in the Los Angelas or South Bay Area.
Trust me, we all start somewhere, however it’s important to invest in yourself and in a great training location like Radiant Ink where you know you’ll get the support.

How To Get Registered
STEPS TO ENROLL
Bloodborne Pathogen Certificate
Before training, you will need to take an online bloodborne pathogen training course to understand the fundamentals of how to work with blood and also get certified to practice in the state of California. This course is $25 and will take 3 hours to complete, and a link will be emailed to you.
Once the course is completed and you have been certified you can start your training. The certificate is only valid for one year and needs to be renewed annually for you to be able to practice as a Body Artist in the state of California.
Get Ready For Your Exciting New Career
Once you have placed your deposit, you will receive a welcome email with the documents to mail over to the county that you are in before attending class.
You must get registered with the Los Angeles Health Department or your counties Body Art program to be able to legally work on clients. This will be renewed annually as well.
Brow Models
Every student can work on a live model the last day of class.
You will have to bring your own model, or if you don't have one on the 5th day, you will still have 2 months to bring one in for supervised reassurance.

Students get to bring in clients or models for the next 2 months for FREE after completion of class to have supervised by Denise if she is available. After the 2 months you have the option to rent a chair (subject to availability)
Post Training Support
After the training the learning doesn't have to end. Stay connected for ongoing support in growing your skills and business.
Attend future events, join the Apprenticeship Program, or Shadow us at our studio to refresh your learning.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?
No prior experience necessary.
Just a willing and open mind to learn.

Do I need to have a cosmetology or esthetics license to take this course?
No, currently the only license requirements in the state of California is to register with Body Art Program w/Health Dept & take Blood Borne Pathogens exam yearly to become a permanent makeup artist.

What happens after the 2 month chair rental is over?
The beauty of training with Radiant Ink is that we have your back throughout your career and offer numerous platforms to help you gain momentum as a PMU artist. You can do monthly chair rentals, join the apprenticeship program, or schedule to do ore shadow days where you will join Denise on her full day of taking clients. You will become part of the Radiant Ink Tribe where no question will go unanswered and your success is our priority!

Will I receive a certificate of completion for this course?
Yes all students successfully completing the training will receive a certificate at the end of the course.

what if I have to miss a day of class
Things do happen in life however if you miss a day of class that will be your responsibility to read through the text book to catch up in the course. Make sure to plan accordingly.

If I place a deposit when is the full amount due?
Depending on when you paid your deposit we will send you a notification 2 weeks before the start of class about your balance due. For more questions about balances and final payment dates send a request to radiantinkbeauty@gmail.com

What happens after I am certified, can I start taking clients?
Yes! Once you've completed the training we recommend you start practicing and bringing in clients to utilize the 2 months of free chair rental. Even after the training and 2 months is over we are still here to guide you as you start out your career as an artist.

What if I am signed up for one of the courses and would like to take another course instead?
In most cases there will be a course switching fee of $300 Due to the demand of student inquiries and sign up for our courses we limit or close course registration once a course becomes full which prevents others from signing up which may have been interested in the course you are desiring to switch from.
Prior to enrolling into the course please be absolutely sure you are able to enroll and take the course to avoid any fees.

What if I need to cancel my seat in the class, can I get a refund or move my date to another class?
There are no refunds after you've paid your deposit or the cost of the course. If you'd like to move your reservation to another date with available seats you may do so by sending in a request to radiantinkbeauty@gmail.com.
